An app that accompanies you and takes care of you

Avecen is a project that aims to improve the lives of people with dementia, their caregivers and family members, helping to prevent and self-manage neurodegenerative diseases characterized by a progressive deterioration of cognitive functions such as Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s disease.

Avecen arises as an open innovation initiative based on the quadruple helix model, where four main axes interact: Science, Policy, Business and Society:

Discover Avecen App

The application performs a continuous evaluation of the users based on proposals of activities or games based on gamification techniques. All these activities include cognitive and motor aspects, adherence to clinical routines, to the prescribed treatment and, in general, to good disease management practices.
